Intro To Dementia Hosted by Fox Therapy

In The Tavern

We will discuss the stages of dementia using the Global Deterioration Scale. In each stage, we will elaborate on the resident’s presentation (hallmark signs and characteristics). We will further discuss communication strategies to include verbal and non-verbal. As a final outcome of this discussion, we hope to equip the listener with tools to increase their understanding and engagement with someone with dementia.
